How to Help
Pray
We are seeking prayer partners for our two anonymous prayer partner teams. We do not share identifying client information in any of the updates; client information is kept strictly confidential.
- The “Choose Life” prayer partner team prays for moms considering abortion who are clients at our various locations. To sign up for this list, message us here or email tiffany@birthchoice.us.
- The “Adoption” prayer partner team prays for expectant mothers, birth mothers, prospective adoptive couples, adoptive couples, or adoptees. For this team, we are looking for Christian brothers and sisters who can make long-term commitments to prayer. To sign up for this list, you must fill out a form at this link.
Volunteer
We have opportunities for women, men, and students! These include helping out as-needed in the office or at events, as well as training to minister directly to our clients.
Donate Items for Our Client Boutiques
We accept many new and gently used items for our mommy & baby boutiques at our Jackson and Gibson County clinics! We like to keep these boutiques well stocked for students in our ESTHER parenting and childbirth program and our Fatherhood Program. By participating, moms and dads earn “mommy money” or “daddy dollars” that they can “spend” on items in our boutique like baby clothes, diapers, formula, baby beds, car seats, and much, much more.
Church Involvement
There are many ways that Christian churches can be involved in upholding the sanctity of human life and helping Birth Choice minister to women and men around West Tennessee.
- Request a Birth Choice staff member to speak at your church about the Birth Choice ministry, the sanctity of human life, adoption, and a variety of related topics. Staff members are available to speak for free throughout the year and can tailor their presentation to your church’s needs. To request a speaker, email tiffany@birthchoice.us.
- Let your women’s ministry know of our need for volunteers.
- Join us in observing Sanctity of Human Life Month every January and download our free resources for churches.
- Join us in observing National Adoption Month every November and download our free resources for churches.
- Participate in the “Change for Life” Baby Bottle Campaign
- Recruit church members to join our annual Walk for Life
Events and Campaigns
Birth Choice holds fundraisers and campaigns throughout the year.
- Attend or host a table at our Annual Fundraising Banquet every April
- Order meat from our holiday meat sales at Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas
- If your church participates in the “Change for Life” Baby Bottle Campaign, don’t forget to take a bottle home and fill it with cash, change, or checks!
- Join our Annual Walk for Life and raise funds for the ministry. It is usually held the first Saturday in October.
Give
Whether you give monthly or want to give a one time gift, your generosity is appreciated! All our services are completely free for our clients, so our nonprofit ministry operates off of the generosity of churches, families, and businesses in and around West Tennessee.
Fun Ways to Help
There are other fun (and often free) ways to help the Birth Choice ministry and protect women and babies from abortion in our state and our nation.
- Knit or crochet baby booties (we give a pair to each client with a positive pregnancy test)
- Sew diaper bags (we give one to each client who has a baby)
- Vote pro-life
