Client Needs
We accept many new and gently used items for our mommy & baby boutiques at our Jackson and Gibson County clinics! Thanks to generosity throughout the community we generally have more than enough of many items, including some diapers sizes and baby clothing sizes, but our needs vary by month. If you are planning to purchase items for our boutiques, please contact us ahead of time at 731-664-8443 (Jackson) or 731-855-2900 (Gibson County).
Here is a list of our current client needs:
While each list may have overlap, each of our offices has separate needs. You may also purchase items from our Amazon wish list and have them shipped to our Jackson (corporate) office.
Gibson County Office - Sweet Blessings Boutique
Clothing & Blankets
- Sleepers (the kind with feet), for boys and girls.
- Sizes 0 to 24 months
- Baby clothes and onesies
- Sizes 0-24 months for girls and boys
- Socks: sizes newborn – 24 months
- Trendy, modern maternity clothes
- Summer and/or winter blankets
- These could be fleece, crocheted, swaddling, receiving, large, medium, etc.)
Hygiene, Diapers, & Feeding
- Similac Formula – blue can
- Baby food
- Bottle brushes
- Pacifiers
- Baby nail clippers, nose cleaners, and baby hairbrushes. These may come in hygiene kits.
- Baby wash, baby shampoo, baby lotion, etc.
- Baby bathtubs
- Diaper rash ointment
Equipment
- Baby beds and bassinets
- Strollers
- Other gently used or new baby equipment such as high chairs, bouncy seats, swings, etc.
- Baby monitors
- New, all-in-one infant/toddler car seats that grow with the child. These must be brand new, or money can be given to purchase them. The car seats we order with the car seat funds can be found at this link.
- Play mats and play yards

Post-Partum Counseling Fund
- We need donations for our Professional Postpartum Counseling Fund to help moms struggling with postpartum depression or anxiety. To give, please email chris@birthchoice.us.

- New baby outfits, sizes preemie up to three months. Boys’ and girls outfits are needed, but especially boys’ outfits! These brand new outfits are the clothes we put in each mom’s “layette” when she has her baby.

We take up to size 2T with baby clothing and can accept Similac formula that is well within date. Other items we accept include diapers, wipes, baby food, toys, bedding, baby shoes and accessories, etc.
Please note we are unable to accept used car seats, used bottles, or used breast pumps. We also do not take baby powder.
Moms and dads in both our ESTHER Program and the Fatherhood Program have the opportunity to earn ‘Mommy Money’ and ‘Daddy Dollars’. This ‘money’ may then be used to ‘purchase’ needed maternity and baby items from our resource rooms at our Jackson and Gibson County offices.
